Yoga found me in 2017 and I dove deep into the practice in 2020 during the pandemic. Yoga brought me healing, joy, peace and so much more throughout the years and I knew in my heart that this was something I wanted to share with the world. Being a social work in a psychiatric emergency room taught me that anyone and everyone can benefit from yoga and the healing journey it provides. And with that, I decided to become a yoga instructor and embarked on a journey through Melanie Taylor’s Lead from the Heart YTT.
Little fun facts about me, I love to yoga (obviously lol), travel, renovate houses, read as much as I can, photograph all the big and small moments in my life and give back to the community as best and as much as I can.

My journey of yoga began with Bikram style yoga, when I was 16 years old. My goal was to be fit for prom, but what I got out yoga was so much more. Overtime, I continued my practice and learned that yoga helped me with my stress levels during college. After 8 years of yoga I came to a point in my practice where I felt I needed a change. I tried Crossfit for a year, but I found my body and mind wandering back to yoga. Then I was introduced to Vinyasa style yoga, which I immediately fell in love with. During my Vinyasa practice I was laid off and decided it was the perfect point in my life to pursue my passion of teaching yoga. I began my journey as an instructor by earning two certifications and teaching my friends and family. My favorite style to teach is a more upbeat rhythm with a lot of movement, generating heat and excitement!

began her yoga journey during a difficult time her life where she needed a mental and physical outlet. The physical challenges from yoga allowed her to start focusing on herself which led her to meditation. After quitting her 9-5, she traveled for a year throughout South America, Central America, and ½ of the United States. During that time, She dove deeper into her own personal practice. Her mind and her heart were open to new experiences and wonderful people. She realized that yoga was something that she wanted to share with people.
The spiritual growth from her RYT-200 fueled her desire to spread love, peace, and a safe space. Her intention for students is to offer love through purposeful movement in a safe environment.

Born and (mostly) raised in Dallas, I’ve been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching since 2008. My teaching style has evolved to incorporate a strong foundation in safe, modifiable alignment, a judicious use of props, and deeper somatic and anatomical exploration to locate balance, strength, and agility in the body. Emphasis on breath is another indispensable touchstone of my own practice and my teaching, and I strive always to introduce the practice of dharana, or mindfulness. I hope to encourage and cultivate an internal awareness that focuses and calms the mind not just during the time and space of our practice, but in the space of our day to day lives.
In addition to my 200 RYT certification, I am also a certified Level 1 Warriors at Ease Yoga Teacher. My karma yoga is working with veterans and first responders through the group Warrior Spirit Project. Yoga and trauma - or how yoga can be a useful tool in managing the symptoms of PTSD - is my passion and my way to give back to a community that has sacrificed and continues to give so much in their service to our country and communities.
Proud daughter of Mexican Immigrants, born and raised in the heart of Oak Cliff, Texas.
Her goal is to guide you to find the best version of herself by getting her yogi tribe into that uncomfortable space. When not on her yoga mat, she's in search for the best chilaquiles, reading and enjoying the outdoors. Y si, encanta el Reggaeton :)
